Now for the details on my cards, I made two different ones using the Snow Flurry set.  The first card I started with a white top folding note card and a bristol panel cut down with a stitched die.
I stamped the flurry image with Versamark ink and embossed in white and then blended Broken China and Peacock Feathers distress oxide ink over the image and the entire panel

With the help of the Original MISTI I was able to take the sentiment stamp and curve it along the outline of the flurry

I created a second card using the same set

Here are the links to everyone participating in the bloghop, be sure to leave a comment on all the blogs to be eligible to win

Warmer with You

Late night card share for the sims Says challenges and the 30 day coloring challenge at The Daily Marker.
When I seen this stamp Warmer with You by GinaK for Stamptember at Simon says Stamp I just had to have it, if you know me at all, you know I love all things snowmen. Just look how cute they are!
To make this card I started with a side folding white not card, a black panel and a white panel. I used distress oxide ink to make the background on the white panel. I started with Abandoned coral and then blended Wilted Violet and Broken China, After I finished the background I stamped the trees with Versamark ink and embossed them in white and then spritzed with water.
I stamped the snowmen n a scrap piece of paper cut them out with the coordinating dies and colored them with Chameleon pens and added some glitter to their caps for shimmer.
I attached my scenic panel on top of the black panel and popped it up with foam tape. The snow is made using a stitched border die from MFT.

I am entering this one in both challenges at Simon says stamp

Had to make one more card for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers fall hop. Love this Blah Bunny stamp by Honey Bee stamps and he was perfect for the coffee greeting by Joy Clair stamps.
To make the card I started with a top folding white note card, I stamped the bunny on a scrap piece and cut him out using the coordinating dies. I also cut the run out of some fall paper. He is colored with Chameleon pens.

MFT SuperStar Challenge

Late night card share and my last entry for the Card Design Superstar challenge at My Favorite Things. This one is for the Innovation Master challenge for specialty cards.
To make my card I used the cute Magical Dragons set and the Happy Birthday Circle Frame along with the Circle Shaker Pouches which make making a shaker card a lot easier.
I started with white top folding note card and a stitched panel cut down with a blueprints die. I used the Radiating Rays stencil behind the shaker and also masked off the dragon so it is shining behind him also. For the shaker i used the Shaker pouch and placed the Happy Birthday circle frame around it. To finish the card I colored the dragon using Chameleon pens and added the panel to the card base.

Coffee Lovers Fall Bloghop

I am back from Retreat, just in time to make a card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I do not drink coffee but I  do drink plenty of tea and pumpkin spice lattes.

To make my card I used a new set by Stampin Up, Merry Cafe and the Coffee Cups framelits along with my favorite autumn sets, Vintage Leaves.

To make my card I started with a white top folding note card and randomly stamped some leaves from the Vintage Leaves set in Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Pool Party diagonally across the front of the card. Next I used some patterned paper and stamped the latte cup and lid and die cut them with the Coffee Cup framelits. I finished the card by adding the greeting  from the Merry Cafe set on a sleeve also cut with the Coffee Cups framelits.

Truth Is....

It's time for another encouragement challenge at Calling All Sistahs
Congratulations to the winner from last month.
Our challenge is to use the inspiration photo below to create a card to send someone a word of encouragement as they go through a struggle. It doesn't have to be cancer it can be for someone who has lost someone, lost a job, or just needs a word of encouragement. The real challenge is will you mail it? I love to go to the mailbox and find happy mail instead of or with the bills, always makes my heart happy.
oh and
There is a prize involved as well, a $25 voucher to CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and if you use CAS-ual Fridays products and are the winner it will increase to $50

here is the inspiration photo

To make my card, I started with a white top folding note card, a black panel and a watercolor paper panel cut down with a stitched die.
To make the background, I used Catherine Pooler inks and a craft mat. The colors I used were Rockin Red, Orange Twist and Tiara. I rubbed each ink pad directly on the craft mat and the spritzed with water, next I smooshed the watercolor paper directly on the wet ink and then dried it with a heat gun, I repeated this step several times until I achieved the look I wanted.
After the panel was completely dry I added the image and greeting from the Truth Is set by Cas-ual Fridays

September Reminder Calling All Sistahs

It's the 17th of the month and time for the Calling All Sistahs reminder to check your girls. I have quite a few friends fighting this horrible disease at the present time, so please get your mammograms so you are not added to the count.
As I have said before I lost my mom to breast cancer at a young age and I am a survivor myself so cancer hits home with me and I do not want any more of my friends to have to fight this horrible disease.

Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please do self exams and get your mammograms once a year if thats what the doctor suggests. You can also help find a cure by purchasing products from the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the profits go towards breast cancer research.

Now for my reminder card.
I used the Calling All Sistahs set along with the Truth Is set.
I started with a pink top folding note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the image with memento ink and colored it with Chameleon markers. The greeting is from the Calling all Sistahs set and I stamped the little butterfly from the Be set.

Like the sentiment says cancer is not contagious but can be caught early so do those self checks and get those mammograms!
